A user in my domain was unable to accept a Repeating [meeting] invitation that was originally created under the R5 environment. I had the owner of the invitation remove the user in question from the invitation's distribution list, hoping this would reset it somehow.

When the user was once again added to invitation's distribution list he was bombarded with individual meeting invitations (1 for each occurrence of the repeating meeting).

I would be most appreciative if anyone out there would explain why this happened.
